• You received your first bachelor’s degree over five years earlier and you were 30 or younger on January 1, 2025.

Also, candidates have to:

• Decide to submit your Summer/Fall 2026 admissions application for a master’s or second-entry professional undergraduate program at McGill University.
• Have the necessary minimum qualifications in both your studies and language for admission to McGill master’s programs.

• Essays: Write a series of short essays (225–300 words) about your leadership experiences and dreams.

•  Two reference letters

Once you have applied for the scholarship, you need to apply separately to the McGill graduate program(s) you wish to enter, using their set deadlines.

McCall MacBain Scholarship English Language Ability

Most instruction at McGill is in English, but students can write approved papers, studies or theses in French, unless that knowledge is an explicit part of the subject.
